Noboribetsu Hotel 2012/11/10 16:55
Which do you recommend?
Everything is so pricey here.

Looking at Takimoto Inn at 7000 per person using Japanese Guesthouse seems like a good deal but I don't like their terms and conditions.

Any ideas? hotel, pensions, websites to book?

Too bad no Toyoko Inn here!

Seems cheaper to stay overnight than to pay 2000 day fee for Daiichi onsen.

Can I just show up at Takimoto Inn and ask for a room? Tried emailing info@takimotoinn.co.jp.

I hope to get a response soon! I leave in a few days. I want 1 night November 20, 2012 for 2 people.

If there are two of you, you should be able to find rates of around 8000 yen per person at the Daiichi Takimotokan on many days. That includes two meals and free, unlimited access to their great baths. They also offer a 500 yen shuttle bus service from Sapporo for staying guests:

Thanks Uji for the helpful answer.
I think the Japanese website is better than the English website.
I can't find the reservations button on the English website.
I may have to email them to reserve.

Oh, that's a good deal you mentioned!I hope I can get it.

Unfortunately English websites of Japanese hotels are often bad or non-existent. And even if they have English reservation systems, they often don't include the cheap plans available on the Japanese versions.

Japanican's lowest rates for the Takimotokan are just below 10,000 yen per person:

Not quite as low as the ones I found on the Japanese version of Rakuten where I found 8000 yen plans, but close to it.
