3 days in Kyoto, 1-3 Dec is it good timing? 2012/11/13 01:46

1st day

- Jojakkoji
- Nishonin
- Tenryuji
- Arashiyama

2nd day (start 9am)

- Eikando
- Nanzenji
- Shinnyodo
- Kiyomizu dera

3rd day

- Tofukuji
- Nishiki market
- Teramachi
- I need to leave Kyoto before 5pm

Should I switch between 1st and 3rd day? Because seem like Tofukuji always peak earlier than others. Is it still ok to visit Tofukuji on 1st Dec this year?

If it already pass peak time, where is good place for Koyo worth for visit? Ginkakuji?

I think it will be too late for colors at Tofukuji, but please check this website's reports and the opinion of tourist information desk staff (or taxi drivers) for up-to-date information of the best spots.

There are several later coloring spots which should still provide some colors in early December.

Thank you Uji.

How about Imperial villa and Kyoto university? Is it still good that time?

There are two Imperial villas in Kyoto (Katsura and Shugakuin), but I am not familiar with the timing of the colors at either. And I am not even familiar with Kyoto University being an autumn color spot.

This is a very useful page if you can read the Japanese names:
