lkebukoru to narita airport teminal 2 2012/12/6 11:57
I am leaving japan on 19 Dec 9.15am and need to be in the airport by 7.15am. What is the best way to travel from ikebukoru to airport terminal 2

I would take the Yamanote Line to Nippori and then the Skyliner. If you want to save some money, take the limited express instead of the Skyliner:

Some people like to travel by bus, but note that the first scheduled arrival is not until 7:30:

The first Narita Express from Ikebukuro does not arrive at the airport until 7:30, either.

Your options are also outlined here:

Yes, but note that the Skyliner does not serve Ikebukuro directly.

You are travelling during rush hour. Rush hour in Tokyo is before 9am. Sardines!

To be at ease, you may want to stay overnight at a Narita Airport Hotel where you can take the early complimentary hotel shuttle bus to terminal 2/ narita airport.

From Ikebukuro, take the train 160 yen to Ueno; Then, tsf to Keisei Line 1000 yen only.

No, it will be before the rush hours. In central Tokyo, they don't really start until after 7am. I recommend the following connection:

From Ikebukuro, take the train 160 yen to Ueno; Then, tsf to Keisei Line 1000 yen only.

Transfer at Nippori instead of Ueno. The transfer is much more comfortable.
