Hello ILm going for 15 Days to Kyoto.

And ILm searching the local JRpass for the Kansai area because I want to go often between Osaka-Nara-Kyoto.

Did someone have a site where I can buy it ?

With 24000yen, you can travel from JR Osaka station to JR Kyoto station 44 times. Are you sure to invest 24000yen for JR transportation only?

You can also charge 24000yen into ICOCA IC smart card and use it to ride JR, subway, private railways.

You can buy multiple JR West passes before arriving Japan.

...: You can buy multiple JR West passes

Not for your case.
You may purchase only ONE pass per visit per person.

The amount is too much. E-money value can be stored up to 20000 yen per card.

"Points of Sale"

The JR West Rail Pass can be purchased through travel agencies outside of Japan or at major JR railway stations and travel agencies in the Kansai region. Online reservations are also possible.

When purchasing the pass outside of Japan, you will receive an exchange order which has to be exchanged into an actual rail pass after your arrival in Japan and within three months of the purchase.

When purchasing the pass inside Japan, you are limited to the purchase of one pass per person, and have to show your passport and your return air ticket at the time of purchase. When making an online reservation, the actual purchase takes place at the railway station in Japan, a limit of one pass per person applies and your reservation print out, passport and return air ticket have to be presented.

Hello ILm going for 15 Days to Kyoto.

So, do you plan on spending every single night in Kyoto?

And ILm searching the local JRpass for the Kansai area because I want to go often between Osaka-Nara-Kyoto.

How often do you really need to move between the three? Most people would do a day trip to Nara for one day. Maybe two days maximum.

If you really need to move so much it may be more sensible to split your nights up so you spend some nights in Kyoto and some nights in Osaka, and maybe some nights in Nara.

In general the passes won't pay off unless you really are moving between all three every single day which seems like a waste. Do you have a detailed day by day itinerary including dates?

Also, with that long in Kyoto I'd consider doing some slightly longer side trips, either overnight, or as day trips. Something like the JR West Kansai Wide Area Pass may be useful for these trips, but it depends where you go.

To be honest I'd probably just get the ICOCA + Haruka package to get you to Kyoto and then just use the ICOCA to get around, maybe combined with the Kyoto one day bus pass.

Enjoy your trip!

Thank you guys.

Well I really need to move between this 3 Citys.

between Osaka and Kyoto every 2 days of this 2 weeks. And between Nara and Kyoto ~2-3 times maybe.

That is why I choose Kyoto for staying, and because I will spend the most time there.

@GC3 Thank you for the Information about the ICOCA + Haruka package I think I will get this one.
