Does the Kochi Streetcar and Bus System (Tosa Electric Railway) have a one-day (all-day) pass?

Yes, it has.

Though the English is very poor (machine translated), it has 1 day and 2 day pass at 1000 and 1600 yen respectively.

The prices are half (500 and 800 yen) for foreigners, when they show their passport at "Tosaterasu".

The tram system in Kochi is very unique: Tosa-Electric Railway has so many cars that you can see the next car is coming down when the car is still at the platform.

Enjoy your trip!

Robert,

Accurately there are three types of day passes.

1. Tram in the city area only. 500 yen/day.

2. Tram in all area. 800 yen/day.

3. Tram in the city area and sight seeing bus (MY Bus). 1000 yen/day and 1600 yen/2days. These passes have discount price for foreigners.

If you are (obviously!) a foreigner, your choice should be 2 or 3, since the "3" pass is the same price as 1. If you will get the sight seeing bus, then you should get 3 while if you want ride on the non-city area on the tram, you should get the "2" pass. From the website of Tosa Electric Railway, I can not find the information about the discount of the Tram-only passes.

Hope this helps.
