I did my homework just curious to know about other people's experiences about the same, how much time did they have to go through.
If immigration could tell everything correctly then why do people have to post queries here.?

Not everyone has the same results.
People can tell you all their experience but final decision is up to immigration.
As been told time range can be from few weeks to few month, depending on many reasons. Immigration will give you their standard waiting period, 1-3 months.
Do note that, if your change of status application is accepted you can stay in Japan until your application approval is given.
