Tateyama Park Late March to mid April
20 minutes by bus from Nagasaki Station
Admission: Free
Tateyama Park is located on one of the hills surrounding Nagasaki City. About 700 cherry trees are planted on terraces all along the hillside, with views over the city. It is a popular place for holding picnics and parties under the trees. The park is lit up in the evenings.

Sakura no Sato Late March to mid April
Almost one hour by bus north of Nagasaki Station
Admission: Free
Sakura no Sato is a community park in a residential district, still technically located within the city limits of Nagasaki, but almost a one hour bus ride outside of the downtown area. Besides some facilities for the community, like tennis courts and playgrounds for children, the park contains several thousands of cherry trees.

Nagasaki Peace Park Late March to mid April

Admission: Free
Nagasaki Peace Park has around 200 cherry trees in the Hypocenter Park, and several more trees located up toward the Atomic Bomb Museum.
