Are you sure that is girl's first name? I know someone with that as her family name, which is pronounced differently from what you wrote.
On the other hand, if that is an English name she picked for herself to be used while she is in an English speaking country, the pronunciation you suggested sounds plausible.

As AK said, I know Irie(入江; means bay) as a family name, too. I can't declare because Japanese personal names have full of variety, but if it's a feminine name, it's very rare. Or Rie(利恵 or something) is a familiar female name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RieAbout Japanese pronunciation, you may want to study romaji. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4kl6siX-0AJapanese have a lot of Kanji charactors, but for speaking, basically it's only 5 vowels [a,i,u,e,o] and consonants.

Personally I have never heard of this first name during my life so far in Japan, but with that meaning what I can imagine is 入恵, "i-ri-e." The pronunciation comes in three syllables, and is "ee-ree-e."

Just as an afterthought...
The description says "(the name) comes from) Japan/Japanese." This might mean that it has somehow come to be used in an English-speaking country as part of imported, semi-English name. (I can tell you it is definitely not "very popular" in Japan.)
I have seen it written in kanji in shop names, though, where the family name is "Irie." Also as I searched online I have seen shop names spelled in alphabets like you showed, in fashion boutiques/nail art salons and places like that, where they say the pronunciation is "eye-ree," as if it was an originally English word.
