Hi guys, i'm from Italy but now i live in Holland for improve my english. I love snow... and I know "snow" in japan is "YUKI". I like so much this name...
So I'm looking for an original nickname, even invented. Can anyone help me to compose this nickname?
Like Yukichan, Yukiko, Yuki... But these nicknames have already been taken by someone... I want original. =)
Grazie mille, doumo arigatou gozaimasu

"Yuki," "Yukiko" are proper (and popular) Japanese girl's names, so if you want to use it, you should use it as it is. "Yuki-chan" with "-chan" is for someone else to call you by; these "-chan," "-san," or "-kun" are added by others, and it is not something you ask others to call you.
As Yuki and Yukiko are popular names, it just cannot be helped that it is used by someone else :)

The familiar/popular nicknames for Yuki or Yukiko are... Yukkii, Yukko (for Yukiko) or Yukirin, Yukicchi. These are often used.

Botan yuki is the falling snow crystal as large as a button so Yukibotan is an idea. Or snow falling in a windless quiet & tranquil night is expressed as "Shin Shin" in Japan(an onomatopoeic word).

However I know Japanese love funny foreign languages like Japanese-Engrish or unreadable Sanskrit characters.(^-^; I can recommend only these of them. Yukkimo, Yukkimi - There is a personality called Yukkina that is a nickname for Yukina. http://goo.gl/EVw5CYukimoko - fluffy? "mokomoko" sounds very soft and warm. Yukihane - "hane" is wing and "hane(ru)" is scatter or jumping. It's cheerful. If there is something related to snow in "Alice in Wonderland"...
