Different ring sizes

Dear all

Can I just check if the measurement of ring sizes in Japan is the same as worldwide?

Cos the ring that I bought is size 11 but when I checked it at a local jeweller shop, it's size 12.

The same goes for my finger size which is measured as a size bigger in my country.

Please share with me if you know anything about this.

I'm not certain, but I think rings are measured in centimeters.

Not sure what ring sizing system Singapore uses, but Japan uses a ring sizing scale where an 11 would measure as a 12 on other scales.
