Omikuji jewel

In a shrine in Kurashiki I got a so called omikuji, in form of a "jewel". It says Tonbo gyaku (or however the kanji for jewel is read). I am unsure what I am supposed to do with the jewel itself. It came with a not that is supposed to be put in a tree like other mikuji.

Tonbo-dama is a bonus and a souvenirs.
So we can take it.
If the omikuji say '凶' or '大凶' , we tie the omikuji to a tree in the precincts of the shrine.
Otherwise, we will bring home them.
