Hiking in Nasu-Shiobara area 2013/6/25 15:24
We plan to base in NasuShiobara near the JR station and do day trips to the Shiobara Onsen area by bus to do some day bush walks. Is this feasible or do we need to hire a car. We are all so looking at the Nasu Onsen area for bush walks. Is this also good. We are english speaking only , will this be a handicap in this area.

Welcome any thoughts and experiences

There are relatively frequent buses from Nasu-Shiobara Station to both the Nasu Kogen area and the Shiobara area. If your planned bush walks start near a bus station, then you won't need a car. If they don't then it will be difficult without a car.

Yes, a little bit.
