Japanese clothing sizes 2013/8/11 07:41
I'll be in Japan in November for roughly a month, and eventually want to be buying clothes.

My question is, I'm a dress size 6US, I'm 5'4 and around 120lbs.

How hard will it to find clothes that will fit me? Shoes I'm not too worried about although, I'm a size 8 shoe size.

Your size sounds like average Japanese women's, or just slightly bigger. The rest depends on your build - I mean, very curvy or not, long arms/legs or not... You can try size 11 (women's), and see how that fits. I wear size 11 :)

I'm also the same size round abouts but my waist is really small and my hips are wide compared to the rest of my body :( hahahaha
I'm scared I won't be able to find proper fitting clothes while in Japan also

The curviness of your body may be a prob where pants are concerned. Skirts will probably be no problem.
