Booking cormorant fishing in Inuyama 2013/8/12 05:02
I'm travelling to Inuyama in early October - and really just going to see the cormorant fishing, but I'll check out other attractions when I'm there.

I can't seem to find out how to book the cormorant fishing trip in advance though, and I'm worried it will be sold out on the day I get there. Has anyone booked this in the past?

Thanks for your help!

But in Oct Not recommend.
BC Ukai(cormorant fishing) for catching "Ayu" mainly.
Ayu is as "summer fish" in Japan.

in June from Sea and Up river a lot but in Jul/Aug Ayu Fisher and wild birds catching a lot.

So in Oct is not peak "just Not no fish" and "just Not ez" watching catching scene.

I tried to book this two days in advance when I got to Japan. I was told they were all booked for several weeks in advance. However, this was in the summer so it may be different in the fall.

If you can't do the fishing, the Inuyama Castle and Meiji Mura are both pretty cool as substitutes.

Thanks for your help! I'll maybe call them and see if I can speak to someone in English.
