Hello,
Just want to know if prices are displayed in supermarkets, stores, etc. Are they understandable or in japanese numbers? Will I have trouble knowing the price before i get to the counter. thanks

Not the prices, but you may have a problem identifying what it is you may be looking at. Everywhere I've been, I've seen the price using the Arabic numbering system with a ‰~ instead of the world-known symbol for yen.
