How do I read my chinese name in Japanese? 2013/9/21 02:45
The kanji for my chinese name is 杉i. My english name is Regina. I'm curious because I wonder what my chinese name sounds like since Regina is basically the same in katakana.

I am a natve Japanese.

Please be notified.
Even if the same Kanji letter, Japanese pronunciation@is different from that of Chinese

probably
=family name
i=first name

杉i=TAN EION
EION is pronaunced as EI-ON, two syllables.

=TAN
this chinese letter is not used commonly in Japan.

i=EI
the meaning is forver, long-life.

=ON
the meaning is a favor, kindness.
