Thanks for the link, Masa. Unfortunately I am not able to read Japanese. I will be visiting Tokyo and Kyoto end of Oct 2013. It will be great if you can advise if I can purchase these buns from shops in Tokyo or Kyoto. When I visited Sapporo last year, I bought some of these buns ata shop located at the JR station and the taste had been unforgetable. They were freshly made at the shop.

In a Kotsu kaikan(交通会館) of Yurakucho Station in Tokyo, it seems to be selling.
It is Murakara machikara kan.(むらからまちから館)
