I have this sentence to translate:
"Have you ever felt like you couldn't improve your skills? What did you do?"
I want to ask this to a musician who plays in a band.
Can someone help me?

to add "no matter how hard you tried" ?

ikura ganbattemo joutatsu shinai to kanjita koto wa arimasuka? sono toki, doushimashita?

いくらがんばっても上達しないと感じたことはありますか? そのとき、どうしました?

...would do. There are numerous ways to say it, of course.
