Kobe Beef

Hi all,

Is there any particular place in Kobe where I can try Wangyu beef (shabu shabu style)? I have searched online. It seems most of places serve it like a steak. I'm not a fan of steak. Pricewise, I'm looking for something moderate. I know Kobe beef is expensive. Is it possible to have something like Shabu Shabu with Wangyu beef for 5000 yen per person?

you might try Sumirejaya near Sannomiya station. Wagyu shabu-shabu is 5000 yen, Kobegyu shabu-shabu is 8000 yen.

I recommend Komon(古もん). The restaurant is specialyzing in Kobe-beef. The price of syabu syabu is JPY5000.
