Hi
Are there any dual voltage appliances in Japanese shops? What sign/words should I look out for on the package?
Thanks in advance! :)

Not usually unless it's an item aimed at people who might travel with them overseas. For example, my wife was shopping for hair straighteners and a lot of them were advertised as dual voltage. What exactly are you looking to buy?

Well portable electronics and toys that require chargers usually are universal voltage. So if you are looking for say mp3 players, you'll have a lot of selection. But if you are looking for appliances, or anything that runs off of mains power, those are generally not offered as dual voltage.
