Dress Shirt Size in Japan 2014/12/26 16:06

Hello! I need help regarding dress shirts size in Japan. I need to buy dress shirts but the size I was given is in Japanese size, which is 38 x 80. Can anyone help me figure this size or maybe help me with its equivalent in UK size?
I will really appreciate your help.

Thank you so much.

38 is 首まわり,a periphery of your neck (in cm).
80 is 裄丈,ゆきたけ,a length from your neck(at backbone) to your wrist through your shoulder (in cm).

38 & 80 converts to 15 & 32, I believe.
As the above poster mentioned, 38cm is the neck size, and 80cm is the "sleeve" length from the back center of the neck to the cuff (shoulder + arm).

In Japan the sizes are typically one to two sizes smaller than here in America.
Asian Small is usually US size 0-2, Asian Medium is usually US size 4-6, Asian Large is usually US size 8-10 and Asian XL or LL is a US size 12...since Asian sizes typically run small, I would suggest going a size bigger than you are to be sure it fits! Hope this helps!
