We're planning to visit Japan for 1st time in April. We will arrive in Osaka and leaving via Tokyo. We also would like to visit Kyoto before we go to Tokyo. There are many choice for train and subway card and.it makes us a little bit confused.
What is the suitable card to use for one way ticket from KANSAI airport to Osaka city and then 2 days sightseeing in Osaka and 1 day to Kyoto.
Thank you for any help.

Thank you very much for your replay.
Am I right if we just buy one way ticket from Kansai Airport to Osaka and then buy ICOCA for traveling inside Osaka and going to Kyoto? We only need one way transport from KIX to Osaka because we are leaving Japan via Tokyo.

Nope, buy the one-way version of the package i.e. includes transport from KIX to Osaka only. You can use the ICOCA on most of the public transport in both Kyoto and Tokyo. It's a stored value card, so you don't have to buy single trip tickets for every train ride. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2359_003.html
