As it stands, no passes would benefit you.
A Kyoto city bus pass might help if you travel more extensively.

If you decide to take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto and then back, a 7 Day JR Pass would help you save some cash. Considering the time it takes to get to the airport, queue for the plane, etc... It might be better to forgo your Spring Airline.

Thanks so much for the insight.
I will consider about the Kyoto City bus pass.
If I take a Shinkansens for the following trips will the JR pass be worth it?

Tokyo to Kyoto
Kyoto to Osaka
osaka to Hiroshima

Also should split up my stay between Kyoto and Osaka? Or is it advisable to stay in Osaka and go around Kyoto?

Here are two suggestions for March 27th.

If you are planning to stay near Tokyo, you might go to the Spring Lion Dans in Asahi City, Chiba.

If you plan to go on to Kyoto, you may want to see Kitano Odori in Kyoto.

For an In-Between thing, that is close to Kawaguchiko, how about the Hakone Round Course?

The final neaby possibilty would be to go to Atami, which is a seaside hot springs resort town.

This gives you a few options.

Oh, I thought of a fifth option. Go to Nagoya, and then see the Winter Illumination at Nagashima Resort.

Try looking at some of the Nagashima Illumation videos at U-Tube, and see if that is something you might want to do.

You could manage 'Sensoji, Akihabara, Meiji Jingu, Shibuya, Odaiba' in a day, but you'd have to sprint.

Without rushing:

Senso-ji and Akihabara are half-days that you could squeeze down to 2hrs or so each. Given your hotel location, you can start early with Senso-ji. The SkyTree is nearby, so you could combine the two, but expect an hour+ queue for a day ticket.

Harajuku, Meiji shrine and Shibuya can be clumped together for a half-day. You might want to add in a bit of eating, travelling and shopping time.

Odaiba is an entire island full of theme parks in Tokyo bay. At least half a day, or a day with kids.

You might find it easier to visit Nara from Kyoto than from Osaka. Public transport in Kyoto is not like other Japanese cities in that things don't connect seamlessly, but there is a good route to Nara from Kyoto station.
