I am confused as to when the time clock starts on a two or three day Surutto Kansai Pass. We will be arriving in Kyoto around noon will be staying for two nights, leaving at noon on the third day and going to Nara then Akame.
Should be purchase the two day pass in the morning of the second day and use it that day and the next or should be buy and start using it at noon the first day we arrive?
Thank you.

Here is a example.
2 Day Pass example Day 1 - Activated Today Day 2 - Ends at 1159pm Today Day 3 - No Coverage
3 Day Pass example Day 1 - Activated Today Day 2 - Covered Day 3 - Ends at 1159pm Today
So based on that information, I believe you need a three day pass for your itinerary.
Hope this help!!! Have Fun!!

Thank you. I suspected that was the case and decided that the extra charge for the three day pass, even if we only use it half day on the first day and half day on the last, was a bargain.
