Nagoya to Fuji to Tokyo 2015/2/16 17:16
hi there,

was hoping someone could share their wisdom plz.

I am traveling from Nagoya with my son to climb mt fuji - approx July 14, 2015. There appears to be 4 different hiking trails, all require different traveling routes. We will be traveling by TRAIN.

We intend to climb to the summit to catch the sunrise (July 15th). we are pretty fit but have little hiking condions. other posts suggest what to wear / take. I was hoping someone could recommend the best route, keeping in mind we would like to have the trip from nagoya as easy as possible with regard to changing trains etc.

What train and to what station would be the easiest from nagoya plz?

Also, when we descend, we will need to get to tokyo that evening (july 15) what train should we get that will get us close to our tokyo hotel - the b ochanomizu?

thank you kindly

regards
ronnie

That time is still the season of the rainy season (tsuyu).
If I had been raining, I think should not climb is good.
I climbed from Yoshidaguchi.
Here is the most common route.
In the case of Yoshidaguchi, sunrise even 8th station can be seen.
I think the other route is close if from Nagoya.
