2015 Sakura in Takayama and Shirakawago

Hi,

I'll be in Chubu in the second half of Apr.
Is there any chance to see Sakura in Takayama and Shirakawago during Apr. 21-24 ?

By the way, is there any web site that shows the real time sakura blooming information ?

In Takayama full bloom has been on average at April 21st, and based on the first forecast, this year looks to be average, maybe a few days early.

In case you do miss the full bloom of the most common Somei Yoshino cherry tree, there will be other later blooming varieties, and places with more shade and thus a later bloom.

More detailed cherry blossom forecasts and reports will come later.
