Difference between heta and nigate 2015/2/20 23:33
can somebody tell me wich is the difference between "heta" and "nigate"?

I know both words mean "be bad at something" but I dont know the differences of use.

"heta" is referring to having low skill levels (at something)
"nigate" is referring to not good at something that you don't like doing something, you would rather avoid doing something.

In most cases,
heta is related to the skill/abilitty.
nigate is related to YOUR feeling. So it is not always 『nigate = be bad at something』.
For example, my friend is good at singing but nigate to sing in front of audience. When you feel nigate to something, usually you are unhappy or nerves or you do not want to do it if you have a choice.
