Clauses usage - Node & Kara

-This one is abit too expensive, so I cannot buy it-
1. 'Kore wa chotto taka-sigumasu NODE kaemasen'
2. 'Kore wa chotto taka-sigumasu KARA kaemasen'

My book says that no. 2 is correct, but i was wondering is no. 1 is correct too, since both words imply roughly the same meaning

First, using a -masu form before ので (or in general, in an attributive context) is super-polite and rarely used in everyday conversation.

The difference between から and ので is that ので can only be used for factual information. Because whether or not the thing is too expensive is a matter of opinion, ので is inappropriate.

By the way, you should probably learn to type in Japanese, it will prevent mistakes such as "sigumasu".
