cards for travel

I shall be visiting Tokyo ,Hakkone ,Kyoto with my family. Whatpre paid card should we purchase for for city travel in trains, subways ,buses ,mono . Any one card for all .Or different cards for diff train lines , buses ,metro etc ,
whaat is difference between Toyko free Kippu,
Suica or Pasmo card.

You will need to buy the card specific to where you first start your holiday, so presumably Tokyo from your OP, and hence SUICA.

Tokyo Free Kippu is basically a one day pass to use on certain company train/bus.
SUICA and Passmo are prepaid rechargeable card. Can be use to make payment for train/bus, vending machine, convenience store and certain store.
