Hi,
Just wondering if anybody knows where this place is in Japan:

It looks like a unique and unusual place to go visit.

Thanks for any info!

Only finding unlabeled pics on 2chan related threads about creepy places in Japan. Looks like a unique graveyard at some temple. Here's a page with some other angles:

I am not sure where that is, but if you like lots and lots of statues, the Sanjusangendo Temple in Kyoto might interest you:

One of the saddest sights that I saw was the Shiunsanjizoki Temple devoted to unborn chidren in Chichibu. It is on the way to the Kannon pilgrimage temple number 31. The road that goes to Temple 31 goes through a tunnel, and Shiunsanjizoki Temple is on the hillside just before you go through the tunnel. The entire hillside seems to be covered in little statues.

Ken found it. I believe that these are the 500 statues of Rakan, Buddha's disciples at Chokeiki, which is near the Gohyakurakan (Toyama Folk Art Museum).
