Are the cherry blossoms season identical for both Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go?

Shirakawa-go is quite a bit higher in the mountains than either Gifu or Kanazawa. So cherry blossoms there should bloom later and more on track with Takayama, which is so far predicted for April 13th.
