Hi, I am heading to Takayama on 14th april for the spring festival. Will only fly to Osaka on the 13th and take the train over to Kanazawa for a night. How do I make the seat reservation on the Nohi bus? (will be buying the Takayama - Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass)
Will it be too late to only make a seat reservation when I'm there?

Try calling the reservation centre:
Nohi Bus Reservation Center

9:00`18:00
They spoke English when we reserved our tickets a year ago. They will give you a reservation number and then you can purchase the ticket in any Nohi counter, but I don't remember if there was a expiration date for the reservation. In any case, we bought our tickets just a couple of days before the date of the trip and they accept our reservation without problems.

We will be going along the same route for the festival also. Were you successful in obtaining bus reservations for the trip with the stopover?
