Matsue to Miyajima

Stay night of Aug 9 in Matsue, then will tour the sand dunes on morning of Aug 10.
Driving onto Miyajima (must arrive 5pm on Aug 11) and stay the night of Aug 11 before flying home next day.
My question is what sights are in between Matsue and Miyajima as new to Japan, thanks.
PS, any peach farms in that area as don't read Japanese.
