7 days in Japan

our group of above 8 to 10 will be travelling to Tokyo from 2nd to 10th Jun with intention to visit Osaka, Mt Fuji and some countryside. Can you suggest places to visits/itinerary?

For a group - Osaka (briefly) good for a castle (even as a rebuild) and large city,
Kyoto and Nara - temples and some impressive world heritage sites.
Countryside - head to the mountains (Takayama) a nice and smaller town. Or keep going to Matsumoto, Kanazawa and/or Nagano.

Certainly you can build a schedule that suits your group if you are interested in the usual sites - well worth the trip.

Thinking about the fact you only have seven days, if you are going to Tokyo then unless there is something specific in Osaka, you might want to focus on some other places.
