Echigo-Yuzawa skiing

I will be travelling from Tokyo to Yuzawa and stay one night (30-31 March 2015) near Iwappara ski resort. We have never tried skiing and don't have any plan to travel & ski in the near future either. Will taking a 2 hour ski lessons be worth it? Please any advice

2h will not be enough even learn the basic, save it for a when you have at least 1/2 a day to dedicate to it.
