We are just starting working our 35 day Japan itinary for Dec to end of Jan can you help starting in Tokyo and ending Tokyo thinking of just taking our time and booking things as we go thanks

It sounds like you don't have much of an itinerary at all yet. I suggest starting from here: http://www.japan-guide.comClick on cities that you think would interest you. Check out what each area has to offer. Decide if you like it or not. Add to itinerary or not. This site also helps with basic itineraries as well, so that's also another place to start: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2400.htmlOnce you've got a good breakdown of what you want to do, post your more detailed itinerary again, and people on the forum will help you refine it.
