Booking reserved Shinkansen tickets

I am in Australia. Can I buy on line before I leave 4 x reserved Green car tickets on Shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo? We are not doing a round trip so JR Rail pass is not an option. We are travelling during Golden Week so need to do this now.

No resevation by online from AU and from Tokyo to Kyoto.
No Green cars seat already in GW if no cancel.
