Shinjuku Gyoen - opening hours

hi, do you know if
Shinjuku Gyoen is open in the evenings? according to this site it's open only untill 16:30, but in the book of lonley planet it sais that it's the best spot for a night hanami.

Sorry, no night hanami at Shinjuku Gyoen. Which edition of Lonely Planet are you using? The latest (13th) edition doesn't mention evening hanami.
