Bringing Meds to Japan

Hello,
I'll be going to Japan at the middle of April to the beginning of May and I have to bring medication with me. I have hypothyroidism or 甲状腺機白瘟ｺ症 in Japanese and I need to take Synthroid everyday. My main question is there a problem with me bringing it over to Japan and are there any specifications I need to know about binging them over? Any help would be a appreciated

I've entered Japan more than 20 times, many times with 4 or 5 meds. I've never been asked and I don't offer any info. about it.
