regarding this site, Im thinking to buy "Japan Prepaid SIM by NTT Communications"Note that that is a data-only sim. If you need calling then you should look at the various b-mobile listings. Otherwise, for data only I'd probably go with an econnect sim: http://www.bmobile.ne.jp/product_voice.htmlhttps://www.econnectjapan.com/2) how can I receive Japan local call via my iphone? With a sim that supports voice. Alternatively, you could get a cheaper data-only sim and use an internet phone service to receive calls.

Do you really need voice? If you do, that will be a lot more expensive.

Looks like they're really just an info blog and don't sell sim cards directly.

Thanks for your advise. I've finally success to get local IP phone number for Japan via online. This works good!! SMARTALK Phone http://www.japansim.net/freeipphone/So I decide to get a data only SIM card at the NRT Airport or Electronic store "Yodobashi". "So-net 1G" or "Japan Prepaid SIM by NTT Communications".

How did you find the registration process, especially the part regarding address? I rented an iPhone last time I was in Japan but don't want to carry 2 phones and limit the cost.
Thank you
