Are there any Michelin star sushi restaurants that you can get into by lining up for lunch or dinner in Tokyo or Osaka?
If so, any recommendations as to what time I should line up?

Most, if not all, of these sushi restaurants require reservations.

I would avoid Sushi Mizutani as they are not particularly welcoming to foreigners.
