Hi everybody
Firstly i would like to thank everyone for their time and help
My question is what should i do to become a medical doctor in japan as the question implies. I am starting 3. Year in my home country's best med. school this year after i finish my faculty i want to work in japan. In my country after 6 years of university ( first 3 years theoric + 2 years like observing different services like pediactry etc. + 1 year internship) you are just becaming doctor to became a specialist you must pass an exam, after that exam you must work for 4 year to become a surgeon, etc.
So the thing is i want to be a neurologist after i finish my universty, what should i do to became a neurologist in japan ? Or would it be easier to become a neurologist then try to become a doc in japan?
I know i need to know/speak/read/write japan as a native and it is really hard - but i am working on it and assuming there will be a language examination. except that is there any test like usmle ? How is the system working on japan i dont want to start med school again so after i became a doc. What should i do?

This question has been asked before - do a forum search.
The language is your biggest barrier. Not only do you need to be perfectly fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, listening and speaking), you also need to know all the medical terms in Japanese. This will take years on top of whatever study you have left.
Are you Japanese? People in Japan may not feel comfortable visiting a foreign doctor. You may find it hard to get patients.

yes i read them all and they are all pointing language and -not being a japanese doctor- problem. i know these two but i am more interested in 'how i became a specialist in japan?' is it easier or harder to start working there after being a specialist or before? i am not a japanese and in almost every country it is a problem everyone wants to trust their doctor and being a stranger wont make it any easier, i know and accept that but if you are good at what you are doing after some point people wont care what nationality you are in. for medical terms problem i will go summer interships in japan in following years, i am learining japanese now. i am concerned do they accept my diploma or how is the system working how can i get my japanese doctor? licence those tecnical problems interest me thanks for your answer and time

I believe that for someone who completed medical studies and is qualified as a doctor outside Japan to become a doctor in Japan, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will review your university's curriculum to see if they are at least equivalent to what a medical school in Japan offers, and if it is determined to be equivalent (or higher), then following a Japanese language diagnosis test, you will be allowed to take the doctor's exam as a Japanese graduate would, in Japanese.

You need to be able to take the medical licencing exam in Japanese.
Probably you would be looking at several years of intensive Japanese study. One mistake, and people die. Then you go to jail.
Basically, while it is possible technically, I cannot possibly think it would be worth it. I talk with my Japanese wife about this type of thing, and she basically agrees - almost no Japanese person would willingly go and see a non-Japanese doctor, unless there was no other option.
