Difference between type of bars 2016/9/20 14:18
Hello,

I'm considering the fact of changing of baito and in a lot of baito's sites I have seen bar's jobs.
I know there's a lot of type of bar but what is the difference between all? Girl's bar, Lounge, Dining bar for example
I know, that we're not allowed to work in the night industry but if we're working in a dining bar, could that be okay?

Thanks for reading.

A dining bar is basically a restaurant, in the same way that an izakaya is a restaurant, but usually at a higher price point.

Sometimes upscale izakaya with nice decor are called dining bars. They may be more likely to serve wine and European dishes compared to places that call themselves izakaya.

Who are "we"? People living in Japan on a student visa? If so, I don't think that girls bar and lounge are acceptable. At least I wouldn't really recommend them to any student, foreign or domestic.

Girls bar is a bar where all workers are girls, but are meant to mainly attract male customers. Lounge is usually a luxurious place where membership is required, but this is supposed to be an elegant drinking place for male executives.

The following website thoroughly explains bar baito and its differences.
