Will this plug be safe to be used in Japan? 2017/1/16 11:37
I will be using this plug for my battery charger on my forthcoming trip to Japan, I do not know much about electronics/electric stuff but from what I know, Japan utilizes 100v.

Thanks, was a bit worried because the plug says 125v.

It's hard to tell from that angle, but If the two prongs are slightly different sizes (as they are in US plugs), then you will need an adapter.

No problem anywhere in Japan.
A two pronged US plug (one blade is slightly wider at the tip) works on newly installed receptacles but older ones (still most of them) only take two identical width blades .
