Mailing Illegal Medication to Japan

I have mailed Pseudoephedrine from U.S. to my relative in Japan without knowing that it was illegal. It's been almost a year and now my relative got called in for investigation. What will happen? I don't even remember how many tablets but no more than 50. (Sudafed 30mg) Thank you for your answer.

Nobody knows what will happen, it depends on how strongly prosecutors will want to push the case.
