kawaguchiko station (luggage storage) 2017/4/3 13:36
Hi there. I will be travelling from shinjuku to kawaguchiko using bus and back to shinjuku after staying 1 night at kawaguchiko. I am wondering whether:
1) should I leave my luggage at shinjuku station overnight or to carry my luggage and leave at kawaguchiko station for few hours, after that ask hotel owner to pick me up along with luggage. I have found that most of the coin locker provide storage around 300 to 500 yen depends on the size, but not sure if it will be full since it is mid april (sakura season). Is there any other alternative way which is more convenient and cheap?

2) I read from the previous post on 2012 that there is staff at kawaguchiko ticket counter help to store stuff which costs 300 yen and the free luggage storage at shop opposite the train station. Is it still applicable now? Will there be free luggage storage provided at kawaguchiko tourist center ?

I have already confirm with my shinjuku airbnb owner that they cannot help to store my luggage temporary before I back from kawaguchiko. Hence I need to find alternative way for that.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am researching all information about Japan right now as I am going to visit this Nov :D

As I got the information, you can store your luggage in Shinjuku Station or in Odawara Station.

or you can use luggage delivery instead :)
