Kyoto- Any good guided walking/bicycle tours?

Hello-
I plan on doing the eastern walking tourand the Arishamaya and thinking it would be much more informative if a guide provided information along the way.
Are there any recommended day, 1/2 day or bicycle tours that could be recommended?
Also, how easy is it to follow the JG recommended itineraries unguided? Thanks!

Can anyone give a review on these bicycle tours, is this preferred over walking , is the information presented during the tour good and are there any guided walking tours that might be preferrable? Thanks to all!
