Half day Fukuoka end of November 2017/7/3 17:55
Hi,

We are going to go to Fukuoka for half day at the end of November.
We will arrive around 10 am in Hakata and leave to Hiroshima at the end of the day.

What is the best spot for visit for half day?

Thank you in advanced.

Depends on your interests.
Some would spend half a day shuttling between ramen shops. Some would go out of town to the big Buddha. Some would go to Canal City. Some would go via Kokura (on the Shinkansen route to Hiroshima), see the castle and maybe the Toto museum..or go to Shimonoseki and eat fugu...

Dazaifu shrine is worth considering.

Since you have limited time, you could grab a 700 yen subway ticket and visit . Ohori Park, Fukuoka castle ruins + Shiomi Tower, ARCOS building, Tenjin Central Park, Shokufuji Temple and Canal City.

Hi, I live in Fukuoka.
I recommend "Fukuoka Open Top Bus".
You can see the famous scenery and feel very brisk on the bus.

Last year I stayed in Fukuoka and at noon I visited Nanzoin Buddha in Sasaguri, it is very beautiful, it's 20/25 minutes by train, I just do not know if it's open in November, I can not find the answer on the net.
