Kamikochi Gate Closing Time

I had heard that Kamikochi closes every day (during the open season) at 6 pm. So, if we are staying just outside of Kamikochi, do we need to be able to leave the park by 6 pm?

Unless you're cycling, you're dependent of the bus schedule to get in or out of Kamikochi (no cars or motorbikes allowed)
