Weather forecast maps 2017/10/27 09:22
Hi, I'm sort of unlucky finding weather forecast maps for prefectures.
I'm currently in Fukushima and it's said to be raining.
So planning the days I'm trying to find spots nearby that are maybe not that rainy and accessible.
But I can only find rain maps for the next hours so far.

Thanks!

Did you check this site?
https://www.accuweather.com/en/jp/japan-weather

It seems you can see the long term forecast.

- Japan Meteorological Agency | Daily Forecasts: Tohoku (South)
http://www.jma.go.jp/en/yoho/205.html
: You can select the date and weather/temperature to change maps
or designate the prefecture to see the details.

The reason you can only find rain, is typhoon number 22. Maybe you can just sit it out in some hot spring in the area where you are? E.g. Ginzan onsen or further North, Nyuto onsen?

Enjoy your trip through Japan!

I personally like the weatherwunderground maps and 10-day forescasts - but like most things, it thakes a bit of work and understanding.

For example, tomorrow I am avoiding Kyoto (some rain forecast) and going to Nara with my guests. I know Nara has different weather and looking forward a couple of days I get a better/different picture.

Thanks I checked jma and accu.
But now that I'm on Kyushu I guess doesn't matter anyway thanks to 22.

The typhoon is approaching Kyushu.

For some railroad sections, train services are now suspended due to this typhoon.
